Caroline Ortega Art

Caroline has drawn her entire life. She went to a child art school once a week from she was 6-15 years old. After graduating high school in 2013, she started as a tattoo apprentice at Miks Tattoo in Copenhagen, and has worked there ever since. Here she mostly work with graphic and ornamental designs. Everything is of course custom made. But tattooing has never been enough and she continued painting and drawing besides that. Where her job as a tattoo artist is bound to the customers desires, Caroline needed a space where she could create for herself. So what you see on this page, is made directly from the mind and heart. Which is also why it’s all about animals and nature. Because this is where she feels at home and safe. Caroline tries to capture the beauty of our world in her pictures, both the living and the dead; the circle of life.
