ARKplakat er et nystartet brand, der i mødet mellem tusch og akvarel skaber et univers af håndtegnede kunstplakater.
Penslen ligger i hånden på Rikke Kamstrup fra Skolen for Kunst og Design. Med organiske former og eksperimenterende farveeksplosioner skaber hun de finurlige illustrationer, der adskiller sig fra nutidens grafiske plakater. Illustrationerne passer ind i en bred palette af rum og hjem, fra børneværelse til stue, og fra studiebolig til designerhjem. ARKplakats filosofi er at gøre op med de klassiske hvide vægge, ved at tilføre rummet en ekstra dimension af liv og stemninger. Arkplakat ønsker at være tilgængelige for alle, og lader det være op til den enkelte selv at udforske og danne mening i de abstrakte motiver.

ARKplakat is a newly established brand. The hand-drawn illustrations are created in the universe of using and combining pen and watercolor. Rikke Kamstrup, student form the school of Arts and Design, is the head and hand behind the posters. With organic shapes and experimental color explosions she creates quirky illustrations which differ from the traditional graphic posters. The illustrations fit into a wide palette of different rooms and home, from nursery to living room and from dorm room to a designer home. ARKplakat’s vision is to break up the classic white walls by adding an extra dimension of atmosphere and color to the room. ARKplakat strives to be accessible to all and allows each individual to explore and interpret the abstract designs.
