With a childhood somewhere between the forrest and the field the inspiration for my work has a close connection to the beauty and the fragile landscape of nature.
bolet was started in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2019 by designer Bolette Nord. All jewelry is handmade in Copenhagen and with a trusting relationship with my molder it gives a good and close communication. The jewelry comes to life and – after a little trip to the molder and back again – is finally processed in the little workspace on Nørrebro.
At bolet I only use recycled metal and the materials are purchased domestically whenever possible. The small jewelry bags are created in the workspace with textiles from the local recycling shop.
The jewelry is as much about personal connection as it is about function. Designed to be contemporary yet timeless. Designed to be loved – and hopefully it will be passed on to the next generation, and the next, and next
