Fra en meget tidlig alder var Sarah facineret af keramik og begyndte selv at samle. Efter 20 travle om som vindhandler, vendte hun sin hånd mod keramik, som, meget lig vin, er kreativ og håndlavet i sin natur. Sarah mener, at ler er en frigørende materiale, og dets meditative og uforudsigelige natur passer perfekt for hende.
Sarah bor i dag tæt ved vandet nord for København, hvorfor hun producerer sin keramik i hendes havestudio.

From a very young age, Sarah was fascinated by ceramics and started collecting tableware. After 20 busy years selling wine, she turned her hand to ceramics, not dissimilar to wine with the creative and hand crafted nature of both arts. Clay is a liberating craft bringing deep gratification from its slow, plodding place. Its meditative and unpredictable nature suits Sarah perfectly.
Handmade ceramics are an excellent reflection of slow living, patience is key as none of the processes can be hurried. It is a mindful, conscious craft with sustainability at the core and little waste with discarded clay recycled.
Today Sarah live close to the sea, north of Copenhagen producing functional wares out of her garden studio.
