sohn is a studio exploring the way textiles become objects. Pursuing the complete use of materials without waste, while proposing practical products with fresh and attractive properties.
From the 22aw season, all products are manufactured using surplus fabrics from high-end fashion houses. Because sohn uses surplus fabric that is inevitably created in the process of mass production, the quantity of each fabric is limited, and exhausted fabrics are no longer reproduced.
They have developed a unique pattern that minimizes material waste and adheres to the manual cutting method. It prevents the loss of fabrics that occur during pattern implementation and machine cutting. Parts that are difficult to use in the product are collected separately during the cutting process and reborn as a new object.
