Valentina Trento
Valentina was born in Fontaniva(PD) Italy in 1991. She graduated in Painting and Engraving at Academy of Fine Arts in Venice(IT). She has been living in Copenhagen (Denmark) since March 2016.
Valentina expands her knowledge insisting and experimenting on techniques, matters and materials.
She started from simple compositions of human anatomical parts to end up with them disappearing and becoming signs.
Changing materials and techniques related to engraving she created compositions of signs by instinct. She realized digital press-printings creating new effects, signs, figures.
After moving to Denmark she started to paint on canvas and with colours, inspired by nature and danish landscapes. She also uses simple water creating natural effects.
